Reactions

The study of Chemistry would be incomplete without an understanding of reactions. To fully grasp reactions, you should understand what a reaction is (also called a chemical change) and what makes it different from a physical change. You should understand what a writen reaction shows, be able to recognize the five basic types of reactions and be able to complete each type (figure out the products from the reactants), balance reactions, and you should be able to determine whether or not single displacement reactions occur if given an activity series and you should be able to determine whether or not double displacement reactions occur given a solubility table.
