Molecular Solids

Molecular solids are just that – solids made of molecules. As such they are help together by intermolecular attractions. This means that the properties of molecular solids can vary widely, from those held together by strong Hydrogen bonds to those held together by weak London Dispersion Forces. There are a few examples worth looking at: (water) ice and dry ice.
